Pel: Kurdish Daily Calendar

Kurdo makes small apps for the Kurdish language. The first one is Pel.

A leaf of Kurdish,
every day.

Pel is a tear-off calendar for your phone. Each day has a pen drawing, a Kurdish saying and one word to keep.

Free on the App Store and Google Play.

Pull the leaf down, or tap it, to tear it off.

Every day has its own drawing.

Twelve days in a row from January 2027, as they look in the app. Tap one to turn it over.

One word a day, and they add up.

The back of each leaf explains the saying and marks one word from it. Where Kurdish has its own word for something usually said with a borrowed one, the leaf tells you which.

Pel is written in Kurmanji, in the Latin alphabet. The leaves you tear off are kept under Pelên min, and their words under Peyvên min.
